Trojans Host Alabama A&M on Saturday

TROY, Alabama – Troy men's basketball will play in Trojan Arena for the final time until Jan. 14, 2017 with a non-conference game against Alabama A&M at 2 p.m. on Saturday. The game will be streamed on TroyTrojans.com. where a radio stream can also be found.

The Trojans (4-4) are coming off the second-biggest win of the season in an 83-65 against Alabama State on Sunday. The 83 points the Trojans put up was the second highest amount of the season behind the 135 scored in the opener.
The win marked the second win in three games for Troy. The Trojans picked up a key win against the Rainbow Warriors in Hawai'i, 65-63, before falling at home to USF, 80-74.

The past two games have seen an offensive spark out of Jeremy Hollimon from the bench. Hollimon put up a team-high 15 points against USF in 21 minutes and followed that with another team-high performance of 20 points in just 17 minutes against Alabama State.

In the win against Alabama State, Juan Davis, Jr. recorded his first double-double as a Trojan. The forward, who is fourth on the team with 8.4 points per game, recorded 11 points and 10 rebounds against the Hornets.

On the other side, Alabama A&M has had to play six-of-seven games on the road en route to an 0-7 record to start the season. The first home game was the Bulldogs' last, a 79-74 loss to Tennessee Tech.
