Troy-South Alabama Series Finale Cancelled

MOBILE, Ala. – Saturday's suspended baseball game between Troy and South Alabama rescheduled for Sunday has been cancelled due to heavy rain. The game, which was the series finale, will not be made up.

Troy led the Jaguars 3-1 in the fourth inning on Saturday when rain forced the game to be halted. Though the rain ceased after a delay of an hour, it was decided to suspend the game and attempt to resume play on Sunday.

The Trojans will return home for a five-game home stand. Troy will host Jacksonville State on Tuesday, Alabama State on Wednesday and ULM over the weekend. Tuesday's game against the Gamecocks is set for 6 p.m.
