Softball Wraps Up 2014 Signing Class
TROY, Ala. – The Troy University softball team and head coach Melanie Davis are happy to announce the 2013 fall softball schedule. The Trojans will play eight games throughout the month of October, including two double-headers, all at the Troy Sportsplex.
The fall schedule begins on Wednesday, October 2, with a 10-inning game against Lurleen B. Wallace Community College at 5 p.m.
Two days later, Troy hosts Gulf Coast and Enterprise for a triple header, with the Trojans taking on the Commodores at 3:30 p.m., and the Boll Weevils at 6 p.m.
Central Alabama comes to Troy on Wednesday, October 9, for a 10-inning game, beginning at 5 p.m. The Trojans then host Wallace Community College and Southern Union on Friday, October 11, starting at 3:30 p.m.
Troy's final two games will both be 10-inning contests, with the first coming against Darton State on Wednesday, October 16, at 5 p.m., and the second against Chipola on Wednesday, October 23, also at 5 p.m.
The fall schedule wraps on with a prospect ID and training camp on Friday, October 25, followed by Spookfest on October 26 and 27.
