TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's basketball team (11-18, 6-12) hosts Middle Tennessee (25-4, 17-1) on Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. in Trojan Arena. The Trojans are looking for payback, after falling to the Blue Raiders on the road less than three weeks ago.

Troy comes into the matchup looking to snap a three-game slide, after dropping games at Louisiana-Lafayette and Arkansas State last week. Deonata Jethroe was the star at ULL, scoring a career-high 20 points and grabbing six boards. Antoine Myers dropped a career-high of his own at Arkansas State, scoring 21 points and tearing down seven rebounds.
Emil Jones is pacing the Trojans at 11.2 points per game this season, while Hunter Williams is chipping in with 10.6 points per game. Ray Chambers is currently second in the Sun Belt in field goal percentage, shooting 54 percent from the field this season. As a team, Troy rarely turns the ball over, averaging just 10.6 turnovers per game, the eighth fewest in the country.
Middle Tennessee is riding a 15-game winning streak and has already locked up the top seed in the upcoming Sun Belt Conference Tournament. The Blue Raiders are led by Marcos Knight's 12.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game. They are the highest scoring team in the conference (71.6 points per game) and they allow the fewest points per game (57.3) in the conference.
Troy is 7-11 all-time against Middle Tennessee, having dropped the previous meeting this season on the road. The Trojans are still fighting for postseason positioning, as they could finish anywhere from seventh to 10th in the conference standings.
