CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Troy ran into a sharp-shooting Louisiana Tech team on Sunday afternoon, falling to the Bulldogs, 70-46, in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic. Westley Hinton led the Trojans with 12 points off the bench, including three 3-pointers.

Troy struggled from the field, shooting just 30 percent (15-of-50). The Bulldogs connected on 42.3 percent of their shots (22-of-52), including 43.5 percent from beyond the arc (10-of-23).

The Trojans made a run in the second half, cutting a 30 point lead to 17, but ran out of time in the end.

Hinton took four shots on the day, all from 3-point range, connecting on three of them, for a career-high 12 points. Antoine Myers was successful getting to the basket early on, scoring eight points in the first half, also finishing with three points and three assists.

Troy got down early, trailing by as many as 24 in the first half.
