TROY, Ala. – The Troy men's basketball team will look to rebound quickly as they host ULM on Saturday at Sartain Hall, just two days after a tough loss to Florida Atlantic.
The Trojans (6-11, 1-5) won't have time to dwell on the loss to Owls where a hot start wasn't enough to hold down the preseason East Division favorites as ULM (2-18, 1-6) will come calling at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday night.
Saturday night's contest marks the final of three straight at home as the Trojan will hit the road next week for contests at Middle Tennessee and South Alabama.
Troy carries a five-game winning streak over ULM into the gym with them on Saturday night, their longest active streak over any Sun Belt team, but the Warhawks won't be an easy task.
Although ULM has posted just two wins on the season, both of those have come on the road, including their most recent trip, a win at FIU just two weeks ago.

Gameday Storylines
- Troy will look to close out a three-game homestand by snapping a four-game home losing streak as they welcome ULM to Sartain Hall on Saturday.
- The Trojans have had their way with the Warhawks as of late, winning five straight over the last four years, Troy's longest active winning streak over any Sun Belt team. ULM last beat Troy on Jan. 27, 2007.
- Troy enters the contest third in the nation in 3-point shooting as they make 9.5 triples per game. The have made their size disadvantage into an advantage all season by firing the long range shots and forcing bigger teams to guard the entire floor.
- The outside shooting also creates long rebounds which allow the undersized Trojans to grab 15.6 offensive boards per game, the best mark in the Sun Belt and sixth best in the nation.
- Troy doesn't waste the extra possessions they create as they commit just 12.9 turnovers per game, the third best mark in the Sun Belt. Pair that with the 15.7 turnovers they force, and the Trojans' +2.8 turnover margin is the best in the league as well.
- The Troy offense features a balanced attack as five different playes have led the team in scoring this season, but Will Weathers is the orchestrator of it all as his 6.1 assists per game lead the Sun Belt and rank 18th in the NCAA.
The Series
- The Trojans lead the all-time series over ULM, 5-2, with all but one of those games coming in the last six years since ULM joined the Sun Belt. Troy is 5-1 against the Warhawks in Sun Belt play with the other contest coming in 1993-94 at the Wright State Invitational

- Last season Troy took a 74-68 win at Fant-Ewing Coliseum in Monroe thanks in large part to an 18 point, seven assist performance from Will Weathers.
Scouting ULM
- The Warhawks were picked to finish at the bottom of the West Division by the Sun Belt's coaches and were the only team picked lower overall than the Trojans.
- ULM, who is ineligible for this year's Sun Belt Tournament, has struggled offensively all year as they average just 58.2 points per game. That lack of firepower has led to a 2-18 overall mark and a 1-6 mark in league play.
- However, both wins for the Warhawks have come on the road, include a Sun Belt victory at FIU. ULM will be on the road for the first time since their win at FIU as they have played three-straight home games since.
