TROY and North Texas were rained out Sunday afternoon, no make-up will be set

DENTON, Texas (TroyTrojans.com) - The Troy University and University of North Texas softball game scheduled for Sunday afternoon has been rained out due to heavy thunderstorms going through the Northeast Texas corridor.

TROY (29-24, 10-11 Sun Belt) and North Texas split the series on Saturday, with the Trojans winning the first game of the doubleheader and securing their spot in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament in two weeks.

The Trojans are off next week due to final exams on the campus, and will resume play with a Sun Belt Conference doubleheader next Saturday against the University of South Alabama. The games will take place at the Troy Softball Complex, with the Trojans honoring their four seniors prior to the contest.

Admission is free to all Troy University softball games.
