Trojans Open Tournament with Ragin' Cajuns

LAFAYETTE, La.- The Troy Trojans open the Sun Belt Tournament against the home-standing Ragin' Cajuns of Louisiana Lafayette tonight at 7:30 pm.

“This will be an incredible game and atmosphere,” coach Bobby Pierce said. “Our kids will get the fell of true college baseball tonight because ULL will pack the house for this one.”

The Trojans are coming off a series win at home over South Alabama to clinch the number three seed while ULL swept New Orleans just to get into the tournament.

Troy will face Hunter Moody from ULL. Moody was named as a first-team all-conference pitcher.

The Trojans will counter with Jeff Green. Green has been the Sunday starter for the second half of the season after Travis Burge missed some playing time due to an injury.
