Final Series Marks Final Home Game for Seniors

TROY, Ala.- The Troy Trojans will play their final home games of the season this weekend at Riddle-Pace Field against the South Alabama Jaguars.
“This weekend will be the last time that our seniors will get to play here in this stadium,” head coach Bobby Pierce said. “Our seniors have given so much to this program and to our university. It will be sad to see them go.”

“They played us hard last year because they were in danger of not making the tournament,” Pierce said. “This is a big weekend for both teams and we will have to play good to beat them because they are a very good team.”
The Trojans are led by reigning Sun Belt Conference player of the week Bryan Miller. Miller currently leads the nation in doubles with 26 and sits in second place in total hits with 90 and is riding an 18-game hitting streak in which he is batting .594.
First pitch is slated for 6 pm Thursday night.
*****Saturday afternoon will mark the final home game for six Trojan seniors. Miller along with pitchers Ryan Ellison, Neal Jordan and Rob Brown, will join catcher Josh Blackwell and infielder Brett Pierce in a pre-game ceremony honoring their accomplishments before the Saturday contest.*****
