TROY, Ala. ? The Troy Trojan softball team will play their first mid-week doubleheader of the season in Tallahassee, Fla. against Florida State on Wednesday.
Leading Troy into the non-conference match-up is reigning Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week, Courtney Davis, fresh-off a four home run weekend at the Hokies United Memorial Tournament.
Davis is batting .306 with a team-leading five home runs and 11 RBI's.
Troy defeated Florida State 3-1 on February 9 in Tallahassee as a part of the FSU Early Bird Tournament.
The Trojans trail FSU 8-19-1 all-time, with Troy's last victory coming in 2006 when Troy defeated the Seminoles 4-2 as part of a doubleheader.
