The Trojans return to action after losing 2-of-3 to conference opponent Western Kentucky.
Troy fell Friday night by a score of 14-5. The Trojans gave up 15 hits in the loss. On Saturday, the Trojans had a similar result as they fell 13-1. In the Sunday finale, senior Kevin Weidlich paced the attack with three hits and two RBI as the Trojans won 4-2. Senior Josh Dew pitched five innings of two-hit baseball to claim his fourth win of the season
During the game on Saturday Senior Clint Robinson became Troy's all-time hits leader. Robinson hit his 214th career hit to right field in his first plate appearance. Robinson is the only four year starter under head coach Bobby Pierce. After his hit, the game was paused and the ball was pulled from the game and given to Robinson's father, Arney, who was in attendance.
Troy will face Kennesaw State Wednesday night. Troy beat the Owls twice last season during its run to the conference title.

Head Coaches
Troy -Bobby Pierce (Alabama, ?˜82) is in his fifth season at Troy and has a 164-98 record after guiding the Trojans to a 47-16 in 2006. Pierce was named the Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year and the Alabama Baseball Coaches Association Coach of the Year in 2006 after leading the Trojans to a Sun Belt title. In his career as a head coach, Pierce has won 699 games in his career as a college head coach, including 259 at Chipola (Fla.) Junior College. His record at four-year schools stands at 440-206 and he is in his 12th season.
Kennesaw State- Mike Sansing- In 2006, the Owls' first year competing in Division I, Sansing guided KSU to a 37-22 record. Under Sansing's guidance, Kennesaw State has accumulated a 632-258 record for a .710 winning percentage. Including his three years as head coach of Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, Sansing has an all-time record of 735-314 and a .701 winning percentage.
