Trojans to Face Birmingham Southern on Saturday

TROY, Ala. - The Troy Trojan softball team will be traveling to Birmingham this weekend to face Birmingham Southern in a double header.
The Trojans lead the overall series 9-3. The two teams split a series last year in Troy.
Troy (36-15, 14-7 SBC) is coming off a 5-0 loss to the second ranked team in the nation the University of Alabama. The Trojans were able to keep the game close at 2-0 before the Crimson Tide was able to score three runs to take the game.
Birmingham Southern (23-28) is scheduled to play Belmont in a double header on Friday.
Game time is set for 1 p.m. on Saturday with the second game scheduled for about 3 p.m.
