Baseball Game With Auburn Postponed

This afternoon's scheduled home baseball game against the Auburn Tigers has been postponed due to heavy rain showers that are forecast for all of South Alabama Tuesday night. The game will be made up on a date to be announced.
The Trojans (11-6, 2-1 A-Sun) will leave on Thursday for an 11-day, eight-game road trip. Troy will face Belmont (10-7, 1-2) at Greer Stadium, the home of the Class AAA Nashville Sounds, in Nashville this weekend.
Friday's game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday's games are slated for 1 p.m. starts.
Following the Belmont series, the Trojans will travel to Huntsville, Ala., for single games against UAH (6 p.m.) and Alabama A&M (2 p.m.) on Tuesday and Wednesday next week.
The Trojans will conclude the trip with a three-game series at Gardner-Webb (6-10, 0-3) on March 25-26. The teams will play a doubleheader on Friday beginning at 11 a.m. and will then play a single game on Saturday at noon.
All of the games during the road trip are scheduled to be broadcast by the Troy Network on WTBF-FM and over the internet at www.TroyTrojans.com.
The next scheduled home game for the Trojans is set for March 29 against Birmingham-Southern. That game is scheduled for a 6 p.m. start.
