Natalie Caracena joined the Troy staff in March 2022 as an Academic Advisor after holding the same position at Arkansas State since October 2019.

Prior to Arkansas State, Caracena was an intern at Kennesaw State in the Student-Athlete Success Services office working with football student-athletes. Caracena was a graduate assistant and intern at Georgia State in the Panther Academic Support and Student-Athlete Development office from 2016-2018, where she worked predominately with the men’s and women’s golf and tennis teams.

Caracena is responsible for the academic success and progress of the volleyball, softball and women’s golf team. She is also the Tutor Coordinator for the Office of Student-Athlete Services.

She is originally from Johns Creek, Georgia. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Ole Miss in 2015. While at Ole Miss, she was a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and a student athletic trainer working with football and men’s & women’s tennis teams. She earned her master’s degree in sport administration from Georgia State in 2017.
