Mike Frigge serves as the Executive Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations after a promotion in the summer of 2025. Additionally, Frigge serves as the sport administrator for the Troy men's golf, women's golf and soccer programs.Â
Prior to his role as on Troy's senior staff, Frigge was the football video coordinator, managing weekly highlight films, opponent film exchange and the capturing of all Troy games and practices.
Frigge joined the staff after serving one year as the Director of Photo and Video at Cincinnati, where he also earned his bachelor’s degree in communications. During his undergraduate years at Cincinnati, Frigge served as a football student manager as well as a student assistant in game operations and technology for the Bearcat department of athletics.
He was chosen as the 2016 Troy Athletics Staff Member of the Year by the Troy SAAC. He is also a current member of the Collegiate Event and Facility Management Association (CEFMA)
His wife Maria currently serves as the dean for international studies at Troy University. The couple has three sons, Daniel, Alex and Chris.
