Jesse Joyce is beginning his first year at Troy University. Prior to joining Troy, he served as a Post-Graduate Intern for Compliance at the University of South Alabama and was most recently the Director of Compliance & Risk Mitigation at Stephen F. Austin State University. During his time at SFA, Joyce oversaw NCAA Bylaws 11 (Personnel), 13 (Recruiting), and 17 (Playing & Practice Seasons) within the athletics compliance department.

He holds a Master of Science in Sport Management from the University of South Alabama (2023) and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Auburn University at Montgomery (2020). A former collegiate student-athlete, he played baseball as a third baseman, first baseman, and outfielder at Alabama Southern/Coastal Alabama – North Community College from 2016 to 2018.

Professionally, he is an active member of the National Association for Athletics Compliance (NAAC) and was honored to represent the Southland Conference at the 2025 NCAA New Administrators Compliance Academy (NACA). Originally from Thomasville, Alabama, he is a graduate of Thomasville High School. He currently resides with his fiancée, Kristin Gleason, and their dog, Jenny.
