Hollis Jackson joined the Troy Athletics staff as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Compliance and Student-Athlete Success in July 2025. Jackson also serves as the sport administrator for the Troy men's and women's tennis programs.
Jackson arrived at Troy following a two-year stint at Georgia, where he served as Director of Compliance for recruiting (Bylaw 13) and personnel (Bylaw 11), as well as serving as the primary compliance contact for baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis and men's and women's swimming and diving.
Prior to his current position at Georgia, Jackson served as Associate Athletic Director for Compliance at ULM where he handled all aspects of NCAA compliance for the athletics department. Previously, he worked in compliance at both Campbell and USC Upstate. Before a career shift to NCAA compliance, Jackson was a practicing attorney for over 18 years and served for 12 of those years as a municipal judge.
Jackson is a 1997 graduate of Southern Methodist University, a 2002 graduate of Faulkner University - Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and graduated from Georgetown University with a Master’s Degree in Sports Industry Management in August, 2022.
He is married to Robin and father to Joshua and Jax. The Jackson family is heavily involved in animal rescue.
