Dr. Hilary Parkin is currently the Associate Director of Athletics for Student-Athlete Services and Senior Woman Administrator. Parkin joined the Troy Athletics staff in 2018 and was promoted to her current role in the summer of 2025. Additionally, Parkin is the sport administrator for Troy's women's basketball and volleyball programs.
Prior to joining the Troy Athletics staff, Parkin served as the graduate assistant with the Office of Student-Athlete Services in 2013. After graduating, Parkin pursued her business career with Troy Sports Properties to promote college athletics marketing and the Guelph Chamber of Commerce, advocating for business prosperity. She returned to Troy University in 2018 as an Academic Advisor and was promoted to Director of Student-Athlete Services in 2022.
She was the first women’s soccer athlete to be inducted into the Converse Athletics Hall of Fame. Parkin was a member of the Converse soccer team from 2008-2012 and was a three-time team Captain for the Valkyries. Parkin was four-year starter for the Purple and Gold and was selected to the all-conference team twice during her career. While at Converse, Parkin won the MVP award and the Shield & Spear Award. During her senior year, Parkin won the coveted Weisiger Cup. Academically, Parkin was a Daniels Leadership Graduate, was named the Outstanding Freshman of the Year by Converse College Student Development and Success, and was the ProAm College Marketing Coordinator at BMW.
Parkin earned her bachelor’s in business administration with a concentration in human resources from Converse University in 2012, followed by a Master of Business Administration from Troy University in 2014. She completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Sport Management in 2024.
