Former Troy captain Delaney Wells joined the Trojans' coaching staff in 2025 following the conclusion of her playing career.Â
Wells, a native of Flower Mound, Texas, played three seasons for Troy head coach Stuart Gore at Northwestern State (2020-22) and reunited with Gore in her final two collegiate seasons at Troy (2023-24).Â
During her playing career, Wells starred as a midfielder and tallied 11 goals and five assists for 27 points. She scored six goals during her final two seasons with the Trojans, serving as team captain her senior year.Â
Wells graduated from Troy with her bachelor's in kinesiology in 2023 and completed her master's in kinesiology at Troy in 2024.Â
