A proven winner at both the preparatory and high school levels, Campbell most recently served as head coach of the PHH Prep Academy girls team in Phoenix, Arizona, during the 2024–25 season. In his lone year at the helm, Campbell led the Fire Frogs to a state championship and was named Arizona CAA State Coach of the Year.Â
In 2023, Campbell also led the boys team at PHH Prep after previously coaching at Elite Prep Academy in Washington from 2020–22.Â
The majority of Campbell’s coaching career was spent at Puyallup High School, where he led the boys basketball program from 2007–20. His tenure was highlighted by a South Puget Sound League Coach of the Year honor in 2020 and a sixth-place finish in the 2019 Washington 4A State Tournament.Â
Campbell’s résumé also includes three consecutive Oregon 3A State Championships with the Oregon City High School girls team (2001, 2002, 2003), along with a top-10 state finish in Washington with the boys team at Sedro-Woolley High School.Â
Campbell has led several successful AAU teams, including Overtime Elite’s Diamond Doves in 2023. He also coached at the Under Armour Rise Elite Sports Academy in 2022, where his 17U team was crowned champions.Â
In addition to his coaching career, Campbell spent more than 20 years as a high school teacher, including 19 in physical education. A former collegiate athlete, Campbell played basketball at Seattle Pacific University from 1990–93.Â
