Dylan Ratliff begins his third season as an offensive analyst for the Trojans following two seasons on the staff at Charlotte, including the 2023 season as a graduate assistant working with the 49ers tight ends.
He helped lead Troy to a Sun Belt West Division title in 2025, a berth in the Sun Belt Championship Game and IS4S Salute to Veterans Bowl.
In his first season, Troy capped the year scoring 28 or more points in its final five games, averaging 35.8 points in those games. The Trojans ranked 19th nationally in November, averaging 449.8 yards per game and 14th in the month, averaging 37.0 points per game. The Trojans started three different quarterbacks during the season, with all three starting at least two games each.
A four-year letterwinner at quarterback for Charlotte, Ratliff helped guide an offense in 2022 that ranked fifth nationally in contested catches, 12th in explosive passing plays, 19th in passing/receiving touchdowns and in the top 30 per Pro Football Focus in receiving.
He began his coaching career as the quarterbacks coach at Jay M. Robinson (N.C.) High School in 2021.
During his playing career, Ratliff was a member of the program’s leadership council and helped lead Charlotte to the program’s first-ever bowl appearance when it took on Buffalo in the 2019 Bahamas Bowl.
