Soaps for Souls **Starting ASAP!!**
We are asking all athletes and coaches who are traveling to collect the complimentary shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion from the hotels.
SAAC members shall collect them at the end of each trip and turn them into Mrs. Becky’s office.

Each student who paid $1 will have the opportunity to decorate his or her bag for event the week of March 17-20.
Our theme is Rocket Power.
Pancake Eating Contest will be the night of the event.

We want to thank the student-athletes who have made time to go tutor at the Christian Love Center in the afternoons. They are very thankful for the help! If you are interested in tutoring contact Langley.

Six people are wanted to tutor at the Christian Love Center from 4-5 pm every Monday-Thursday. It’s not asking a lot so if you have time and are interested contact Langley Vannoy (850-449-9449).
Relay-for-Life
$1 from each student athlete is what we are aiming to raise more than last year. This will purchase the illuminate bags to line the walking track. Pancake Eating Contest will be the night of the event.

Notes
Baseball/Softball Fan day is February 1st from 6:45-7:45 in Trojan Arena.
3.0 Club is February 6th at half of men’s basketball game. Also the 6th, softball’s first game vs. Auburn at 3 pm and then Women’s basketball play at 5:30.
Nola Bound is February 15th outside of Trojan Arena, which is a promotion of the Basketball Conference in New Orleans.
Also February 15th the men’s basketball game will be airing on ESPN and all student athletes should be in attendance to support their fellow Trojans!
Guest speaker Cody Farril, SGA President, shared that SGA meetings are in TC 119 at 6:30 on Tuesdays.
Service Projects
Leadership Conference- February 7th and 8th. Was asked that 10 student athletes attend. Cost is $15, but there is a chance the fee would be covered. Get in contact with Tiffany.

Notes
The athletic department is very proud of how all the student-athletes handled the meeting last week discussing some issues. Make sure to commend your teammates on a job well done.

Service Day- January 20th from 9 am to noon will be volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. 15 student-athletes at all time will need to be present. Be sure to get with Courtney Cohen about signing up.

Pop tabs
Continue to collect pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. The deadline for collecting pop tabs is November 22nd. Your SAAC rep needs to bring all of your team pop tabs to Towers first floor on November 22nd at noon.
Canned goods
Please continue to collect canned goods. The deadline for collecting canned goods is November 22nd. Your SAAC rep needs to bring all of your team pop tabs to Towers first floor on November 22nd at noon.
Salvation Army Red Kettle
Please ask your student-athletes to sign up to work the Salvation Army Red Kettle. The sign up for it will be on Ms.Hilary Parkin’s door in Towers 3rd floor. If your student-athlete works it, he or she should wear his or her athletic gear.
Project 19
Continue to sell the purple bracelets for a minimum of $5.
The Men and Women basketball team will sell purple bracelets at the football game on November 29th.

Information on Sun Belt conference Leadership Team Guidelines, Sun Belt Male and Female Athlete of the Year Guidelines, Sun Belt Male and Female Postgraduate Scholar Athlete of the Year Guidelines will all be given to your SAAC reps when given the information from Tiffany to post in locker rooms.
Guest Speaker
Mr.Bees came and spoke to the SAAC representatives about NCAA Academic Progress Rate. He passed out two handouts to help explain the importance of APR.
