2010-11 (Redshirt Sophomore)
In his first with the Trojans, Weathers quickly became one of the top point guards in the Sun Belt, earning Third Team All-Sun Belt honors … The sophomore led the league and finished sixth in the nation with 6.6 assists per game … His 178 total assists rank as the fourth highest total in Troy’s Division I history … Weathers dished out 10+ assists on six different occasions, including a season-high 13 assists twice … The New Orleans, La. native posted six double-doubles including a rare 10 reb, 13 ast double-double against Idaho State (12/22/10) … Weathers also paced the Sun Belt with an average of 1.9 steals per game … The flashy point guard proved to be a scorer as well as he place in the Top 20 in the league with a 12.0 points per game average … Was named Sun Belt Player of the Week on Jan. 10 after scoring 32 against Louisiana-Lafayette (1/6/11) and 27 against UALR (1/8/11) in consecutive games … Led the league with a 37.0 minute per game average … Played 40 minutes or more on nine different occasions.
