TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics and Troy Regional strengthened an already established partnership on Tuesday by announcing a new seven-year sponsorship agreement that will benefit all Troy student-athletes and enhance Troy Regional's brand through the placement of its logo on the East Apron at The Vet.
"We are excited to announce a game-changing partnership between Troy Athletics and Troy Regional in our hometown," Troy Athletics Director Kyle George. "We are Troy's Hometown Team, and this monumental partnership further cements that status by placing the Troy Regional logo on the field at Veterans Memorial Stadium."
"This is game-changing for Troy Regional," Troy Regional CEO Rick Smith said. "Troy University continues to provide more and more services for our community and the outlying areas, as does Troy Regional; we continue to elevate our services. We thought this was a natural progression to not only show our support for the university but also for the community we serve. We're proud to be this sponsor and look forward to the coming years."
Beginning with the 2026 Troy Football season, the new Troy Regional logo will be etched into the turf between the 10-and 20-yard lines on the East Apron (visitor sideline) to maximize visibility for fans in the stadium and watching at home.
This collaboration was arranged in partnership with Troy Sports Properties (Playfly Sports), the multimedia rights holder for Troy Athletics.
