Troy Football Countdown Hits 70 Days; All-Sports Letterwinners Day Set for Season Opener on Sept. 5

TROY, Ala. – The countdown to "Kickoff in the Wiregrass" hit 70 days on Saturday, as Troy's 2026 season opener against Sam Houston on Sept. 5 at The Vet approaches. To celebrate the new season, Troy Athletics is excited to welcome back all former student-athletes for All Sports Letterwinners Day.

Former Troy student-athletes can reconnect with teammates, celebrate their Trojan legacy, and be recognized during the game as we honor those who helped build Troy Athletics.

All returning letterwinners will receive up to four complimentary tickets to the game, gain access to an exclusive pregame tailgate in Tailgate Terrace and take part in a special in-game recognition.Â
