Troy’s 2026 Football Schedule Released

TROY, Ala. – Troy's 2026 football schedule was released Friday by the Sun Belt Conference, featuring a pair of nationally televised games, the addition of Louisiana Tech to the league schedule and SBC home games against Southern Miss, Georgia Southern, ULM and La Tech.
The Trojans are coming off their third Sun Belt West Division title and Sun Belt Championship Game appearance in the last four years after winning eight games last season.
Troy's non-conference slate opens with back-to-back home games against Sam Houston (Sept. 5) and Alabama State (Sept. 12) before road games at Missouri (Sept. 19) and Utah State (Sept. 26).
Troy and Southern Miss have played on the final week of the regular season each of the last three years, including Troy's 28-18 victory at Southern Miss last year to clinch a spot in the SBC Championship Game. This year's matchup flips to the opening week of conference play and will pit the Trojans against the Golden Eagles on one of the ESPN Family of Networks on Tuesday, Oct. 6, at The Vet.
After facing the Golden Eagles, Troy travels to Louisiana (Oct. 17) before returning home to take on ULM (Oct. 24).
A short week awaits the Trojans following the battle with Warhawks as Troy travels to James Madison on Thursday, Oct. 29, in a rematch of the 2025 Sun Belt Championship Game. JMU will have a full week of preparation for the nationally televised game as the Dukes play at App State the prior Thursday.
Troy's first-ever matchup with Louisiana Tech follows on Nov. 7 on Homecoming at The Vet. The "Battle for the Belt" gets a Saturday date for a second straight year as Troy travels to Mobile on Nov. 14 before hosting Georgia Southern on Nov. 21 to close out the home slate.
Troy and Arkansas State return to the final weekend for the first time since 2022 as the Trojans travel to Jonesboro on Nov. 28.
The Credit Union 1 Sun Belt Football Championship presented by Visit Pensacola will hold a Friday date (Dec. 4) for a second straight year.

General admission seating for all six home games is just $75, and fans can take advantage of a Family Pack discount: general admission tickets drop to $60 per seat when purchasing four or more. Reserved seats start as low as $135 for the season, with Family Pack discounts dropping prices down to just $100 per reserved seat.
