Troy Athletics Celebrates Chase for Win No. 275 With Deals, Giveaways

TROY, Ala. – On Thursday at 6 p.m. in Trojan Arena, head coach Chanda Rigby chases history in search of her 275th victory at Troy, sitting one win away (274) from passing Joyce Sorrell for the most wins as a Troy women's basketball head coach.

When: Thursday, Feb. 12 – 6 p.m. / Saturday, Feb. 14 – 1 p.m.

To honor the hunt for win No. 275, Troy Athletics is proud to invite all former players who played under Rigby. Those former athletes can request up to four free tickets by contacting Jack Brown at jdbrown@troy.edu.
All Trojan fans can also receive complimentary Mardi Gras King Cake on the West Concourse, while supplies last, presented by Publix. Cardinal and white beads will also be given to fans while supplies last as general admission tickets and reserved tickets are on sale for $1 and $2.75 for the game. Troy fans can access the deal by visiting TroyTrojans.com/Tickets prior to the game.
This week also marks Breast Cancer Awareness Week for the Troy women's basketball program. To honor the cause, all Troy women's basketball staff and players will don pink jerseys and apparel. Troy Athletics will join the cause by giving away 200 pink trucker hats to the first 200 fans in attendance.
Saturday, Feb. 14 – 1 p.m. – ULM
After the weather impacted the original Letterwinners Day for women's basketball, Troy Athletics is proud to host the newly scheduled celebration on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 1 p.m. against ULM. All returning players can enjoy the game on Trojan Terrace, where they can receive complimentary food and beverages and up to four free tickets by contacting Abby Bruner at abruner214401@troy.edu. There will be a halftime recognition for all returning letterwinners and they will be invited to sign the alumni wall.
With Letterwinners Day, Troy Athletics is also giving away white '50 Years of Women's Sports' for the first 250 fans.
To continue Break Cancer Awareness Week for Troy women's basketball, the team and staff will return with their pink jerseys. There will also be a silent auction on the South Concourse, overseen by the John Harrison Center, with proceeds going towards the cause.
