TROY, Ala. – Following the successful release of Troy's first officially licensed bourbon whiskey in the fall, Troy Athletics, Clyde May's and Pete's Package Store announced Monday a limited-release Troy-branded commemorative bottle and bag featuring Clyde May's signature product – the ever-popular Alabama Style Whiskey (85 proof).

Presale on the limited edition run, which includes 500 bottles, begins Monday, March 31, at Pete's Package Store in Troy and runs through Saturday, April 12, in conjunction with Troy's annual T-Day Spring Game. Fans who purchase via the preorder can pick up their order beginning April 12 at Pete's Package Store.

Priced at $49.99 per bottle, a portion of all sales will directly benefit Troy University.

Fans can enter to win an autographed football jersey from Pete's Package Store by visiting the store and registering in the promotion. Following the presale, any remaining inventory will be available for purchase while supplies last.

The commemorative bottle series features Clyde May's signature product – the ever-popular Alabama Style Whiskey (85 proof). Each bottle will include a commemorative sticker on the bottle and will be packaged in a commemorative Cardinal velvet bag with the Troy script logo on one side and Clyde May's logo on the other.

The flavor profile provides a deep, glimmering bronze appearance with distinct aromatics of rich caramel, dried orchard fruits and green apple. This is a warm, medium-bodied spirit with an accent of black pepper and hints of anise and toasted oak. Crowned by a smooth finish.

Distilled since 1946, legal since 2001, Clyde May's is the Official State Spirit of Alabama and is currently in the process of opening the largest distillery in the state of Alabama in Troy.
