TROY, Ala. – With the 2025 Troy football spring practice in full effect with head coach Gerad Parker entering his second season, Troy Athletics finalized the festivities for T-Day, which includes the annual Lunch with Legends panel that's packed with Troy greats before kickoff on Saturday, April 12.
In partnership with The Vance Law Firm, T-Day will kickoff at 2 p.m. with free admission for all fans. The day kicks off from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with Troy's annual Lunch with Legends featuring Richard Shaughnessy, Lawrence Tynes, DeWhitt Betterson Sr. and Corey Robinson. Between that, the free Youth Football Clinic (All children aged 5-12) starts at 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. with check-in at Gate 1 (South Concourse), starting at 11:15 a.m. The day follows with the Troy Athletics Yard Sale, which begins at 1 p.m. and goes until halftime – the yard sale takes place on the West Concourse of The Vet, featuring jerseys from football and other sports, helmet decals, shirts, shorts, pants, hoodies, shoes, cleats and bats.
With The Vance Law Firm headlining the event, it will give away prizes all game long with the 'Dial 3 to Win' deal. After the first quarter, three people will win three pregame sideline passes to the season opener against Nicholls State. Another trio will win one for Memphis on Sept. 13 – one person will be awarded four sideline passes for the entire game against South Alabama on Oct. 4. At halftime, one fan will have the chance to win three lifetime season tickets plus an invitation to the AD's suite for the season opener if they can do the following three things:
At the end of the third quarter, three fans will win three pregame sideline passes to the Oct. 25 game against Louisiana, and three will win three to the Nov. 22 game against Georgia State. Additionally, there will be a 33-yard dash for three fans – first place wins three stadium club tickets for the Oct. 4 game against South Alabama, followed by second with adidas shoes and third with a Troy football T-shirt. Finally, a triple hot dog eating contest, where the first to eat three hot dogs wins three stadium club tickets to the homecoming game.
The day concludes with the free opportunity of Troy softball's matchup with Georgia Southern at 4 p.m.
