2025 WNIT Bracket Announced, Troy Earns First Round Bye to Await Alabama A&M / UT-Chattanooga

TROY, Ala. – The official 2025 WNIT bracket has placed Troy women's basketball in a matchup with the Alabama A&M and UT-Chattanooga winner after receiving a first-round bye.
Round two will be from March 23-25, with the official date, time and location to be announced at the conclusion of round one.
The Trojans enter their second straight WNIT appearance and the seventh overall postseason nod in head coach Chanda Rigby's tenure. Troy earned a first-round bye in 2024 before earning its first postseason victory in program history over FIU in the second round. They went on to beat North Carolina A&T on the road and ULM in Trojan Arena and punch its ticket to the Fab 4.
Troy finished its Sun Belt run at 20-13, 13-5 SBC, earning a 10th straight top 4 seed in the tournament and winning its way into the semifinal round. The SBC's automatic qualifier also led the conference in assists (15.3), defensive rebounds (33.2), scoring (78.5) and total rebounds (49.5) – also led the nation in defensive rebounds and total rebounds.
