Troy Crowned 2024-25 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champions

PENSACOLA, Fla. – The No. 3 seeded Troy men's basketball program battled its way over No. 4 Arkansas State, 94-81, to be crowned the 2024-25 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Champions on Monday night in the Pensacola Bay Center and punch a ticket into the NCAA Tournament.
Tayton Conerway was named the SBC Tournament Most Outstanding Player after leading the Trojans to the title with 21 points on eight made field goals. Thomas Dowd followed him, earning SBC All-Tournament Team on a 14-point, 9-rebound performance in the championship game.
The 2024-25 championship marked the first in the Scott Cross era after being named the 2024-25 SBC Regular Season Champions. It's also the third conference championship in Troy history and the first since 2016-17.
