Troy Men’s Basketball Championship Celebration Set for Monday Night

TROY, Ala. – After clinching the Sun Belt regular season championship on Friday night, Troy Athletics is proud to announce a Troy Men's Basketball Championship Celebration on Monday night in Trojan Arena.
The team will take part in a net cutting ceremony at 7:30 p.m., and fans will have the chance to hear from head coach Scott Cross. Doors will open at 7 p.m. and admission to the event is free of charge.
Joining the men's basketball team will be the Sound of the South Pep Band, Troy Cheerleaders and T-Roy.
Troy finished the regular season with a 20-10 (13-5 SBC) record and are the only team in the Sun Belt to have 20 or more wins and 10 or more conference wins in each of the last four seasons.
Troy will open play in the Sun Belt Tournament on Saturday, March 8, in the quarterfinals. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m. at the Bay Center in Pensacola, Fla.
