Troy's 2025 Football Schedule Released

TROY, Ala. – Troy's complete 2025 football schedule was released Friday by the Sun Belt Conference office and features all six home games on Saturdays, including the "Battle for the Belt" against South Alabama. Troy will celebrate its 25th anniversary of moving to the FBS level throughout the 2025 season, in addition to the 60th anniversary of the Sound of the South.

Troy opens the season with four straight non-conference games – Nicholls  (Aug. 30), at Clemson (Sept. 6), Memphis (Sept. 13) and at Buffalo (Sept. 20) – before hosting South Alabama on Oct. 4 in the Sun Belt opener, which follows one of two in-season byes for the Trojans.Â

The Trojans hit the road for back-to-back games at Texas State (Oct. 11) and ULM (Oct. 18) before returning home to host Louisiana on Oct. 25 and Arkansas State for Homecoming on Nov. 1.

The lone mid-week game of the season is a Thursday-night tilt at Old Dominion on Nov. 13 on one of the ESPN networks. Troy returns home the following week to host Georgia State on Nov. 22 before closing out the regular season on Nov. 29 at Southern Miss; this is the third straight season that the Trojans and Golden Eagles have met in the finale.

The Sun Belt Conference Championship Game is slated for Dec. 6 and will be played on-campus at either the East Division or West Division champion; Troy hosted the game in 2022 and 2023.

Season ticket prices start as low as $75 for Troy's six home games, as prices remain the same across all levels for a third straight season.Â

Fans have three options for receiving their tickets: mobile delivery, print at home, or hard tickets. All areas in The Vet, excluding suites, are available for purchase online (TroyTrojans.com/fbtickets). The Trojans carry a lot of momentum into the 2025 season after posting one of the best months of November in the country, as the Trojans won three of their final four games of the season and ranked as the nation's 19th-best offense and 25th-best defense that month.

Troy returns 14 starters on offense and defense, landed the Sun Belt's top recruiting class in December, signing 15 players with an 83.54 average per industry leader On3, and pulled in one of the top transfer portal hauls in the league, adding 13 players prior to the spring semester.

Fans who renew or purchase their season tickets in January or February can opt-in to a six-month payment plan, with scheduled payments drafted on the last day of each month from February to July. Â
Â
Other important dates include the Thursday, May 1, priority renewal deadline and Friday, May 23, Commemorative Ticket Stock print deadline.

Troy's Community Hero Ticket Program returns in 2025 as an opportunity for fans to help community members who might normally not be able to attend a Troy Football game. Football Community Hero Tickets remain at just $30 for the 2025 season, and there is no limit on the number of Community Hero Tickets fans can purchase as part of this program.

Troy Athletics will provide the tickets to military, teachers, first responders, special needs organizations and charity programs for children to attend home football games this season at The Vet.Â

Tickets for Troy's road games at Clemson, ULM, Southern Miss, Old Dominion, Buffalo and Texas State will go on sale through the Troy Ticket Office later this summer.Â
