Troy Football Completes 2026 Non-Conference Schedule with Alabama State

TROY, Ala. – Troy completed its 2026 non-conference football schedule on Friday, adding Alabama State on Sept.12, 2026, at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The Trojans will also host Sam Houston State and travel to Mississippi State and Missouri in 2026.
The meeting between the Trojans and Hornets is the first since a 34-7 Troy victory in 2017 and the 17th all-time between the two schools. Troy has won 11 straight games in the series and leads 14-2 overall.
Troy and Alabama State first met for a three-game run from 1974 to 1976 and resumed their series in 1989, playing every year until 2000, except for 1990.
