Jade Sinness Earns Sun Belt Player of the Week Accolade

TROY, Ala – Troy senior Jade Sinness has earned Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week accolades after leading Troy to a 4-1 record at The Spring Games, the Sun Belt announced.
Sinness went 9-for-14 from the plate including three home runs and 12 RBIs in the Trojans' five contests at the Spring Games. Troy's leadoff hitter hit a perfect 1.000 clip against LIU where she hit two of her three homers and added a double.
The senior outfielder enters the week leading the league in hits (35), RBIs (30) and home runs (7) and ranking 10th in doubles (7).
Troy (20-8, 0-0 SBC) travels to Conway, S.C., to face off against Coastal Carolina this weekend to open conference play with a three-game series at St. John Stadium.
