Troy Volleyball Secures Fourth Seed in West Division for Sun Belt Tournament

TROY, Ala. – The Troy volleyball team will head to Foley, Ala., as the No. 4 seed out of the West Division and will take on Georgia State in the First Round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament on Thursday, Nov. 21, the conference announced on Saturday evening.
Troy (13-13, 8-8 SBC) will go against Georgia State (16-12, 7-9 SBC), who earned the No. 5 seed in the East Division, in the first match of the tournament on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. For the fifth consecutive year, the tournament will be held at the Foley Events Center.
The Trojans closed out their regular season winning five of its final six matches, including a 3-1 win last night over App State, who finished the season first in the East Division. Tori Hester recorded 120 kills over the final four matches of the regular season, including 30-plus kills in three of those.
The Tournament will run Thursday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 24. Tickets may be purchased online through the Foley Sports Tourism Box Office. Tickets are sold on a daily basis and are $10 per day for adults and $5 per day for children ages 12 and under. Students of Sun Belt Conference institutions are admitted free with a valid student ID.
The 2024 bracket was determined by winning percentage against divisional foes only. The top three seeds on both the East and West sides earn automatic byes to the quarterfinal round.
All matches will be broadcast on ESPN+, with live stats available on TroyTrojans.com.
