Troy Announces Atlanta Trojan Tour Stop Before Troy-Georgia State Football

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics has added an additional Trojan Tour stop to its annual tour around the Southeast as the Trojans are taking over Atlanta in conjunction with the Troy at Georgia State football game on Sept. 30.
Featuring Troy Athletics Director Brent Jones, baseball head coach Skylar Meade and softball head coach Eric Newell, the Trojan Tour event runs from 4-6 p.m. (ET) at Woods Chapel BBQ, located at 85 Georgia Avenue SE in Atlanta, just a five-minute walk from Center Parc Credit Union Stadium.
"Atlanta is a major hub for fans, alumni and supporters, and we're excited to bring Trojan Tour to our fans in Georgia," Jones said. "I encourage all of fans coming to the game, whether you're from Atlanta, Alabama or anywhere else to join us for our Trojan Tour Atlanta."
The Troy University Alumni Association is providing complimentary appetizers for all Troy fans in attendance at Woods Chapel BBQ. Additionally, the Troy Cheerleaders and a Sound of the South Pep Band will also stop by around 5:15 p.m. for a performance; the full Sound of the South will be at the stadium for the game.
Troy fans are encouraged to purchase tickets through the Troy Ticket Office, TroyTrojans.com/FBTickets, or 877-878-WINS (9467) to sit in the Troy section for the game. Additionally, parking in Summerhill C Lot will provide Troy fans the best access to Trojan Tour and the stadium, and Georgia State utilizes a clear bag policy for its games.
