Troy Tailgate Concert Series Schedule Set for 2023 Season

TROY, Ala. – The Troy Tailgate Concert Series, presented by Horn Beverage, is back for the 2023 season, and the schedule is packed with star talent featuring The Springs, POPulus, Johnny Barron and the Waterfall Band, 12Eleven and The Park Band.

Located in Tailgate Terrace just outside the South end zone of The Vet, the Tailgate Concert Series brings live music to Troy Gameday each week with a two-hour performance beginning three hours before kickoff. The bands will take a break during Trojan Walk, two hours and 15 minutes before kickoff before retaking the stage.
Â
Troy Athletics has added a Chill Zone in front of the stage this year, including picnic tables and umbrellas for fans to enjoy the shows better.

Stephen F. Austin – Sept. 2 (6 p.m. Kickoff)
• Band: The Springs
• Performance Time: 3-5 p.m.Â

About:Â The Springs are a husband (Stewart Halcomb) and wife (Holly Helms) duo who grew up in Alabama but met at the Bluebird Café in Nashville. The country duo has opened for stars such as Florida Georgia Line, Kelly Clarkson, Reb, Little Big Town, Eric Church, Alan Jackson and more. Their albums have landed on multiple top 10 lists, and they have made regular appearances at events such as the CMA Music Festival.Â

POPulus not only plays covers from well-known artists, but they also play original songs written by students from Troy University's Music Industry Program.Â

Their versatility entertains crowds of all ages as they play throughout the area and the Florida Panhandle.Â

About:Â Â The Park Band has become one of Alabama's premier bands with a perfect mix of rock, Motown, country and today's hits. The band has played hundreds of events across the southeast since its start in 2008 and is comprised of band members that all of the Troy community knows and loves.
