William Sullivan Named CSC Academic All-American

TROY, Ala. – Troy Baseball's first baseman William Sullivan has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Third Team; the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.
Sullivan became the 20th student-athlete in Troy history to earn Academic All-America honors and the first baseball athlete since Tyler Vaughn in 2014. In total, Troy Baseball has received 11 Academic All-American honors, the most of any program at Troy.
The Orlando, Fla. native recently graduated with a degree in exercise science finishing with a 3.73 grad-point average.
Sullivan had a career year during the 2023 season. Playing in and starting 60 games for the Trojans he hit .310 with 71 hits, 15 doubles, three triples and 17 home runs while driving in 53. Sullivan also became the Troy all-time leader in career hit-by-pitches accumulating 45 in his four seasons as a Trojan.
College Sports Communicators began the distinguished Academic All-America program in 1952, and since then, has honored more than 38,000 deserving student-athletes from numerous sports across all divisions with these elite Academic All-America® scholar-athlete honors.
