TROY, Ala. – Troy senior men's tennis student-athlete Francisco Erramuspe has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Wednesday.Â

The 2023 Academic All-District Men's Tennis Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.Â

The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes men's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. First, second and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced May 31.

Erramuspe, a native of Paysandu, Uruguay, carries a 3.66-grade point average in computer science and will graduate with his bachelor's degree on Friday. On the court, he posted an 8-6 record during the spring, including a 6-3 mark on court six. Overall, Erramuspe went 14-11 during his final season with the Trojans, which included a win over LSU's Will Cubitt at the ITA Southern Regional in the fall.

Troy advanced to the Sun Belt Conference Tournament semifinals for the third straight season.
