Troy Shatters Baseball Attendance Records

TROY, Ala. – Troy Baseball set several records this year, including having the most baseball season tickets in over a decade, ranking nationally in attendance and establishing the program record for overall and per-game attendance.
Troy averaged 1,948 fans for its 31 home games, with 56,483 Trojan faithful packing the stands at Riddle-Pace Field. The per-game average ranks 34th nationally, second in the Sun Belt and eighth among non-Power Five conference schools.
"Trojan Nation was electric throughout the course of the 2022 season," head coach Skylar Meade said. "They helped us along the way, winning many games at Riddle-Pace Field with their energy, noise and passion. We appreciate all the fans in the stands, including all of Doubles Alley, for continually being there during a record-setting 2022 in attendance."
Seven of the top 20 crowds in stadium history came during the 2022 season, including the fourth-largest crowd to attend a home Troy game, as 3,212 were in attendance when the Trojans hosted Auburn in early May. All told, seven crowds of more than 2,000 fans attended a game at Riddle-Pace Field this season.
Troy opens play in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament Wednesday at 9 a.m. against No. 3 Coastal Carolina. Tickets are available by visiting TroyTrojans.com/SBCBaseball.
