Troy Football Presses on In Spring Camp
4/7/2022 3:13:00 PM | Football
TROY, Ala. – Troy football passed the halfway point of spring practice Thursday with a two-hour workout in The Vet after heavy rains on Tuesday and Wednesday made the grass practice fields unusable for an effective practice session.
It was Troy's first practice since Monday and served as a good primer before the Trojans are set to go through a physical scrimmage on Saturday. Unlike last Saturday's practice, which was half scrimmage and half practice, this upcoming weekend will be almost 90 percent scrimmage following a brief warm-up.We focus on the offensive side of the ball today with check-ins from @CoachCraddock and @gunnar_18 following Thursday's practice in The Vet.#RiseToBuild | #OneTROY ⚔️🏈 pic.twitter.com/AKpgZj01gz

"We're getting closer (to where we want to be as an offense)," offensive coordinator Joe Craddock said. "The guys have to learn where to line up; they have to learn alignment, assignment and technique of everything. They are starting to get there, but for halfway through spring, I'd say I'm pretty pleased about where we're at.Thanks for coming out and for all you do for our guys!! #RiseToBuild | #OneTROY ⚔️🏈 https://t.co/9Wz9DeCihj
