Baseball Alumni Weekend Set for March 18-20

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics has announced Baseball Alumni Weekend for Friday, March 18 through Sunday, March 20, as the Trojans open Sun Belt Conference play against Louisiana.
There will be a ton of festivities taking place on Saturday, March 19, as Troy Athletics will honor all returning baseball alumni on the field, and they will have access to a specialty hospitality area on the baseball patio.
In addition, there will be special recognition of the members of the 1982 Gulf South Conference Championship team and a ring ceremony as they celebrate the 40th anniversary of their Gulf South Conference championship.
Under head coach Chase Riddle, the 1982 Trojans dominated the Gulf South Conference, finishing 8-3 in conference play and a 31-10 record overall. It was Troy's third consecutive conference championship.
All returning baseball Alumni may request up to four complimentary tickets to each game that weekend.
The Trojans kick off the 2022 season on Friday, February 18, with a four-game series against Holy Cross at Riddle Pace Field
