Troy Football Excellence Fund Adds New Championship Ring & Helmet Incentives

TROY, Ala. – Coming off Sun Belt Conference and Cure Bowl championships, Troy Athletics has added a pair of new incentives for fans who donate to the 2023 Troy Football Excellence Fund. The Fund directly supports the Troy Football program, and all donations are tax deductible.
Fans who donate at specific levels to the Football Excellence Fund will receive an authentic Troy Football helmet signed by Coach Sumrall ($5,000), a personalized Sun Belt Conference Championship Ring ($10,000) or both a helmet and a ring ($25,000).
All donors to the Football Excellence Fund will receive a commemorative poster signed by Coach Sumrall and sideline access for the 2023 T-Day Spring Game. Football Excellence Fund donors will also be invited to an exclusive evening social with Coach Sumrall and the football staff the Friday before the T-Day Spring Game.
"I want to thank all of our generous and supportive fans who stepped up and joined the Football Excellence Fund in Coach Sumrall's first season as our head coach," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "Coach Sumrall stated from the start that he had a plan to bring our football program back to the top of the Sun Belt Conference. Now is the time for us to keep the momentum going.
"Last year, we met our stated goal for the Football Excellence Fund, and this year we are challenging our fans to step up to a new level in our goal of raising $500,000 for our championship football program."
The Troy Football Excellence Fund, which has a stated goal of $500,000 by April 15 and has a $50,000 lead gift already pledged, features multiple levels in which Troy alumni and fans can contribute to the future success of the Troy Football program.

"The Football Excellence Fund allowed us to think outside of the box both on and off the field to supply our players and staff with the resources needed to be a championship football team," Sumrall said. "Everyone who donated to the Fund last year played a role in us taking home two trophies in the past three weeks. Just like I challenge our team to be where their feet are and do their job, I want to challenge our fans to do the same as we look to take the next step as a program."
