TROY, Ala – Troy volleyball seniors Amara Anderson, Halston Hillier, Isabella Mitchell, and junior Julia Brooks were named to the 2022 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, on Wednesday.
"I am very thankful we have such great examples of what it means to be a student-athlete in our volleyball program," head coach Josh Lauer said. "Amara, Julia, Halston, and Isabella have had immense success on the court, and I love that our Troy volleyball family, friends, and fans also get to see how amazing they are off the court."
Anderson adds to her long list of accolades that she has accumulated here at Troy as she became the Trojan's all-time leader in career assists, which is currently at 5766. In addition, she became the only Trojan in program history to surpass 5000 career assists and is now in second place in Sun Belt career assists as she was named to the Sun Belt first team this season.
