Troy Athletics Letterwinners Day Set for Football Opener

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics is welcoming back all former letterwinners for the football season opener against Southern on Saturday, Sept. 4, as it will officially be Troy Athletics Letterwinners Day at The Vet.

"Our former letterwinners are the lifeblood of this athletics department, and we look forward to welcoming them back to campus for the football opener," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "This is going to be a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with former teammates and friends all while enjoying the amazing gameday atmosphere at The Vet."

Letterwinners from all of Troy's athletics programs are encouraged to make their way back to campus for the game, and each former letterwinner will have the opportunity to request up to four (4) complimentary tickets to the football game. Additionally, a pregame tailgate party will be held in Tailgate Terrace from 3-5 p.m. for the returning letterwinners prior to the 6 p.m. kickoff.Â

The day's activities are all provided at no cost to the returning letterwinners and culminate with a special in-game recognition as the Trojans take on the Jaguars.
