Troy University Night at the Montgomery Biscuits Set for August 6 with Doubleheader

TROY, Ala. – Troy University and the Montgomery Biscuits are teaming up for Troy University Night on Friday, Aug. 6, when the Biscuits take on the Tennessee Smokies in a doubleheader. Game one of the double header will begin at 4:30 p.m. with game two starting at approximately 6:35 p.m. at Riverwalk Stadium. The pregame social will still take place in the Club Car Bar at 5:30 p.m. and run until 6:30 p.m. Fans will only need to purchase one ticket for attendance to both games.
"We're extremely proud to call the Montgomery Biscuits our friends and partners, and we can't wait for Trojan Nation to take over Riverwalk Stadium next week," Director of Athletics Brent Jones said. "A Montgomery Biscuits game is already an amazing family experience, and then when you add in T-Roy, the Troy Cheerleaders and a pregame social for Troy fans it becomes a can't miss night."
Troy fans are encouraged to wear their favorite Troy gear to the game and come early to mix-and-mingle with Troy coaches and administrators, including new baseball head coach Skylar Meade and Director of Athletics Brent Jones, in the Club Car Bar for a pregame social from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Complimentary food and drinks will be provided for all those in attendance at the pregame social.
T-Roy and the Troy cheerleaders will also be on hand and will help the Biscuits' staff with their in-game promotions. Meade will get game two of the doubleheader started by throwing out the ceremonial first pitch.
In addition to Troy University Night, the Biscuits will celebrate the 15th anniversary of Talladega Nights with a NASCAR-themed hat giveaway to the first 1,000 fans at the game.
Fans can purchase tickets for the game directly through the Montgomery Biscuits by visiting BiscuitsBaseball.com. Ticket prices start as low as $9 and premium seats are just $15. Fans wishing to seat with fellow Trojan fans should purchase tickets in sections 118, 119 and 120 down the first baseline (located directly in front of the Club Car Bar).
