Troy Announces Sun Belt Basketball Tournament Social Event in Pensacola

TROY, Ala. – Troy Athletics and the Troy University Alumni Association invite all Trojan fans and alumni in Pensacola, Fla., for the Sun Belt Basketball Tournament to join us on Saturday, March 6, at McGuire's Irish Pub for a social event to celebrate the men's and women's basketball teams.Â

The social will run from 2-4 p.m. at McGuire's Irish Pub (600 E. Gregory Street, Pensacola, FL), directly following the women's game at 11 a.m. The event will be held in the Grand Hall of McGuire's, located towards the back of the restaurant, where fans can enjoy free appetizers while purchasing additional food and drink if they wish.Â

The Sun Belt Conference basketball tournament will be held March 5-8 in Pensacola, Fla., with games being played at both the Bay Center Arena and Pensacola State College. The Troy Women earned the No. 1 seed in the East Division and will play their first game on Saturday, March 6, at 11 a.m. with the opponent still to be decided. The men are still battling for position in the East Division Standings and the only thing that is certain is that they will play on Friday.Â
