Fan Day & Football Kickoff Party Set for August 17

TROY, Ala. – With summer in full swing, it is never too early to start planning for the 2019-20 Troy Athletics season and the unofficial kickoff to the year has been set for Saturday, Aug. 17, in Trojan Arena with Fan Day presented by McDonalds and the Football Kickoff Party. Fan Day is scheduled for 1-3 p.m. with the Football Kickoff Party to follow at 6 p.m.

Fan Day features members of the football, volleyball, soccer and cross country teams plus the Troy cheerleaders and T-Roy. Fans will have the opportunity to pose for pictures, get autographs and receive a free copy of each sports' schedule poster for the upcoming season.

The Trojan Warrior Fund will provide free food and drinks to all fans in attendance. Additionally, locations to purchase 2019 football season tickets and join the Trojan Warriors will be set up in Trojan Arena.

Tickets for the Football Kickoff Party are available for just $125 and each ticket admits two people. The evening will include heavy hors d'oeuvres, complementary beverages and a $10,000 grand prize. For more information or to register, call 334-670-3682 or email jmorgan@troy.edu.
The Troy football team opens the Chip Lindsey era on Aug. 31 when the Trojans play host to Campbell at 5 p.m. in The Vet. Schedules for the cross country, volleyball and soccer teams will be announced soon.Â
