Troy Announces Football Game Times, Game Themes

TROY, Alabama – Fans can start marking their calendars and making plans for the 2019 Troy football season as the Troy Athletics Department announced Tuesday game times and themes for Troy's home games. Additionally, Troy's regular season finale against Appalachian State has been moved to Friday, Nov. 29.
Troy's games against Campbell (Aug. 31), Southern Miss (Sept. 14), Arkansas State (Sept. 28) and App State (Nov. 29) will kick off at 5 p.m. and Troy's Homecoming tilt against Georgia Southern (Nov. 9) is scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. kickoff. The Battle for the Belt against South Alabama (Oct. 16), which will be televised on ESPN2, will be announced at a later time. All game times are subject to change based on the Sun Belt Conference television agreement.
Each of the six home games will feature a centralized theme in addition to other promotions to tie in each of the days at The Vet. Troy has set the attendance record at The Vet each of the last three seasons and led the Sun Belt in attendance for the first time in school history in 2018.
